1 Crown from Gibraltar. Issued in 2017. Struck in Bronze (Layered in pure Silver and accented in Ruby dust and Gold). Measures 38.6 mm and weighs 28.28 g.

- Robert Laurence Binyon's timeless words from the Poem ' For the Fallen' surround a depiction of the lone soldier standing in silent contemplation with his head bowed as he remembers his fallen comrades. Before him, the field of battle which has claimed so many young lives is now itself reclaimed by nature. A beutiful wild Poppy, accented in red ruby dust and gold, has emerged from the scarred ground as a powerful symbol of hope after pain, renewal following loss and rebirth out of destruction.
