- Laureate portrait of Franz I of Lorraine facing right. The top of the head divides the legend starting at 8 o'clock Ducal titles are skipped from the inscription. ("Franciscus Dei Gratia Romanorum Imperator Semper Augustus Germaniae Ierusalem Rex" Francis by the Grace of God Emperor of the Romans Always August King of Germany and Jerusalem)
- Reverse
- Crowned, double-headed imperial eagle with baroque coat of arms of Lorraine and Toscana, the crown divides the legend above. Value in a frame below. Mintmark under talons. (I put my hope in You, Lord)
