1 Zonnekroon from Duchy of Guelders. Issued from 1544 to 1555. Struck in Gold (.929). Measures 27 mm and weighs 3.41 g.
- Obverse
- Crowned quartered arms of Austria, Old Burgundy, New Burgundy and Castille, with arms of Gederland atop in center, flanked by Order of the Golden Fleece symbols (fire steel, sparks and jewels), sun above crown (Charles, by God's grace Emperor of the Romans and King of Spain, Duke of Gelderland)
- Reverse
- Cross with fleur-de-lis tips, alternating eagles and towers in the corners (symbolizing the German Empire and Spain). Guelders cross at top, date at end of legend. (Give Me Strenght Against Your Enemies)
