- Armored knight brandishing sword with right hand, on charging horse to right above crowned arms of Holland. Legend ends with small shield (New silver coin of the United Provinces of the Netherlands, Province of Holand)
- Reverse
- Crowned arms of the United Provinces, supported by a crowned lion on each side, shield with city arms of Amsterdam below, and date at top at end of legend. (Unity makes strength)
