Cross crosslet, with X at intersection and a globus on shaft, set on four steps base; between bust of Basil II on left, facing, bearded, wearing loros and crown with cross and pendilia, and bust of Constantine VIII on right, facing, beardless, wearing chlamys and crown with cross and pendilia.
