- Count Louis standing in a gothic archway, holding sword in his right hand, and resting his left on a shield with Flanders arms. To the left, a tournament helmet. Legend runs through bottom line in exergue (Louis, by God's grace Count and Lord of Flanders Flanders)

- Triple floriate cross inside a polylobe. Letters F L A D in the angles, and lion of Flanders in circle at center (Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord Flanders)
