The reverse of the coin bears a relief image of the Fiagdon Monastery in North Ossetia-Alania against the background of a mountain landscape laser treated for matte finishing. The relief inscription ‘КРЕЩЕНИЕ АЛАНИИ’ (CHRISTIANISATION OF ALANIA) is around the upper circumference.
