- Obverse
- Queen Elizabeth II effigy with inscription that include the denominational value and the year in which the coin is struck. (Elizabeth II by the Grace of God, Queen of Gibraltar)
- Reverse
- The photograph featured on the coin's left side shows Princess Elizabeth training as a mechanic in the Second World War. Her Majesty is the only British Royal Family member to have served in the Second World War and also the only living monarch in the world to have served. The photograph on the right side of the coin shows Queen Elizabeth Il at the Cenotaph for a wreath laying ceremony during the Remembrance Sunday. Each and every year she honours those who lost their lives in the war never forgetting the great sacrifice that they made for their country, having witnessed the loss and grief of a nation first-hand herself. The photographs are divided by a sceptre entwined with sprigs of oak inspired by the House of Windsor Crest, with St Edward's crown, the official coronation crown featured at both ends and the shield of the Royal Coat of Arms in the centre. The inscription taken from Princess Elizabeth's speech in 1947 as she dedicated her life to the service of the Commonwealth.
