- Pearl-diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust of Theodosius II facing, head turned slightly right, spear in right hand over shoulder, shield decorated with horseman motif on left arm. (Our lord Theodosius pious and blessed august)
- Reverse
- Victory standing facing, head left, long cross in right hand; mintmark in exergue. (Vows for the seconth anniversary of reign and more for the thirth to come)
