1 Gold Noble from Duchy of Aquitaine. Issued from 1362 to 1372. Struck in Gold. Measures 32 mm and weighs 5.39 g.

Obverse
Edward wearing rose wreath, standing facing, holding sword up in right hand and raising left hand; at feet, two leopards couchant; to left and right, two ostrich feathers with tips curved inward; all within ornate Gothic portico (Edward, first son of the king of England, prince of Aquitaine.)
Reverse
Ornate cross quernée with rose in center, lion passant and lis in opposite quarters; all within arched quatrefoil set on quadrate frame with roses in angles; pelleted trilobes in external voids. (God is my helper and my protector, and my heart belongs to him.)
