2 Crowns from Gibraltar. Issued in 2016. Struck in Gold (.375) (9 carat). Measures 26 mm and weighs 10 g.
- Obverse
- The 2016 Raphael Maklouf portrait, in honour of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to celebrate the 90th birthday with the added feature of a special edition 90th birthday privy mark
- Reverse
- A modern interpretation of the Official United Kingdom coat of arms set within the regal border. To the left is the Lion accented in Rose Gold supporting the shield. To the right of the shield is the Unicorn Of Scotland which is accented in White gold. The coat features both the motto of British Monarchs, Dieu Et Mon Droit, and the motto of the Order of the Garter, Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense which is represented on the Garter behind the shield.
