Solidus - Theudebert I from Frankish Kingdom. Issued from 540 to 548. Struck in Gold. Measures 21 mm and weighs 4.41 g.

Obverse
Bust facing, spear on the right shoulder. The bust is helmeted, the helmet decorated with three rows of pearls, surmounted by a crest. On the left shoulder, a shield on which is represented a horse. (Our Lord Theudebert, victorious.)
Reverse
Victory standing facing, holding a long cross and a cruciger globe. Letters B and O on either side of Victory. Star in the field to the right. CONOB in the epigraph. (Victory of the August.
