Description
1 Maille from County of Flanders. Issued from 1180 to 1220. Struck in Silver. Measures 11 mm and weighs 0.4 g.
- Obverse
- Two triangles overlapping in opposite direction, one with rings at the apices, the other with fleur-de-lis, smaller ringlets in each corner, and a large pellet in center.
- Reverse
- Cross pattee intersecting inner circle, within which a pellet in each corner. Between inner and outer circles, two rings with central dots in each angle.
