- Coin features a detail of a bull moose’s head and antlers in profile, taken from Robert Bateman’s painting The Moose Family. The polished ground of the coin features Robert Bateman’s signature, along with the word "CANADA", the dates "1962–2012" to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Canadian Wildlife Federation, and the face value "250 DOLLARS."
