- Obverse
- Around the circumference of the coin are national ornaments. The State Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan is depicted in the central part, the inscriptions KAZAKHSTAN REPUBLIKAS and REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN are around the emblem, the denomination of the coin is indicated in the lower part.
- Reverse
- The coin is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and China. In the center of the coin, the number "30" is depicted as an infinity sign. Inside are the State Emblems of Kazakhstan (left) and China (right). All inscriptions are made in Kazakh and Chinese. (DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS YEARS)
