Obverse

In the center is the State Emblem of Kazakhstan. Around the emblem there is an ornamental rosette, as well as the inscriptions QAZAQSTAN RESPÝBLIKASY and REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN in the state and English languages, the logo of the National Bank of Kazakhstan and the designation of the coin's denomination, metal of manufacture, sample and weight.

Reverse

A nomadic warrior shooting from a bow against the background of rock paintings depicting archers. In the upper part of the coin there is an image of flying arrows as a symbol of the power of the nomads' weapons. Below the arrowhead is the year of issue of the coin and the mint logo. To the right of the circumference is an inscription KÓSHPENDI SADAǴY indicating the subject of the coin. (Nomad's bow)
