Denier Bracteate - Abbey with Royal Participation from Abbey of Lindau. Issued in 1240. Struck in Silver. Measures 21 mm and weighs 0.44 g.
- Obverse
- Head of the king from the front. The crown bears a cross in the center at the top, and a ringlet on each side, which sometimes appears as a sphere because the hole is very small or is missing entirely. The king holds in each hand a three-leaved linden branch, the top leaves of each branch facing each other horizontally, the two lower ones hanging almost exactly vertical. Upright and cross square border.
