1 Douzain from France. Issued from 1572 to 1574. Struck in Billon. Measures 24 mm and weighs 2.4 g.
- Obverse
- Crowned French écu with three fleurs de lis, flanked on both sides by crowned C (for Charles). Mint marked between D and G in legend. (Charles IX, by God's grace, King of the Franks)
- Reverse
- Scalloped cross with Cs north-east & south-west and crowns north-west and south-east. (Blessed be the name of the Lord)
