ANNO XI (which translation can be POPE FRANCIS, YEAR 2023 OF THE LORD) / MMXXIII (2023) ; in the lower part, a banner with the motto MISERANDO ATQUE ELIGENDO (in English BY HAVING MERCY, BY CHOOSING HIM) and the signatures of the artist sculptor Mariangela Crisciotti and the artist engraver Maria Angela Cassol
