- Obverse
- The common Obverse for the series shows the Webb Ellis Cup, which the winner of the World Cup will have the pleasure of raising. On the left of the cup is the inscription RF and on the right the face value ¼€. The Rugby World Cup logo is inserted below. All around the design are the words "Coupe du Monde Rugby France 2023".
- Reverse
- In the centre of the coin stands the Wallace Monument, Scotland's iconic landmark. To the right of it, a determined-looking rugby player runs straight ahead, ball under arm. To the left of the monument, a shield depicts the national flag in heraldry. The name of the country is written in French and in English, following the shape of the coin.
