- Obverse
- Webb Ellis Cup in the center, with the inscription "RF" on the left and the face value "1/4 €" on the right. Below, the competition logo. The inscription "COUPE DU MONDE RUGBY FRANCE 2023" is inscribed around the scroll.
- Reverse
- On the bottom of the coin, the medieval towers of Caernarfon Castle are depicted. A rugby player is depicted above the monument; he throws himself on the ground, ball in hand, as if to score a touchdown. To the left of the design, the country's flag is shown in heraldic form as a shield. It is surrounded by the name of the country: "Pays de Galles", in Welsh "Cymru" and in English "Wales“, following the shape of the coin.
