- Obverse
- The common obverse for the series shows the Webb Ellis Cup, which the winner of the World Cup will have the pleasure of raising. On the left of the cup is the inscription RF and on the right the face value ¼€. The Rugby World Cup logo is inserted below. All around the design are the words "Coupe du Monde Rugby France 2023".
- Reverse
- In the middle of the coin is the tower of Trinity College Dublin. On the right a rugby player is making a defensive gesture by holding the ball against himself. On the other side of the tower, the flag of Irish rugby is represented on a shield in heraldry. The name of the country is written in English and in French, following the shape of the coin.
