- Pearl-diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Theodosius facing, head slightly right, holding spear over left shoulder and shield with horseman motif on right arm. (Our Lord Theodosius, Pious and Blessed August)
- Reverse
- Constantinopolis seated left, holding globus cruciger and scepter; shield at her side, star in right field; mintmark in exergue.
