- Effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right
- Reverse
- A photograph of the Queen when she showed her solidarity with the families of the Welsh mining village after the devastation of the Aberfan disaster in October 1966. The gates of Buckingham Palace border the image and at the bottom, a bouquet of flowers is depicted together with a ribbon with the inscription that reads ‘DEVOTED TO YOUR SERVICE’.
