- Right facing head of Queen Elizabeth II, wearing the George IV State Diadem, legend and date around, denomination below

- An image of a member of the Home Guard. An image of farm work and a supply train is also depicted in the background. The inscriptions ‘THE PEOPLE’S WAR’ and ‘THE MEN’ are struck on a depiction of the ribbon of the Defence Medal.
