An image of a two children stood waiting with their suitcase and wearing an identification tag on their clothes. In the background there is an image of a young boy representing the other types of work that children took part in. The inscriptions ‘THE PEOPLE’S WAR’ and ‘THE CHILDREN’ are struck on a depiction of the ribbon of the Defence Medal.
