500 Tenge from Kazakhstan. Issued in 2023. Struck in Silver (.925). Measures 38.61 mm and weighs 31.1 g.

Obverse

The central part depicts the coat of arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to the left and right of it are elements of the national ornament. Along the circumference are the inscriptions QAZAQSTAN RESPÝBLIKASY and REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN. At the top of the coin is the logo of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, at the bottom is the denomination of the coin.

Reverse

In the center of the coin is a portrait of the folk musician and composer Kurmangazy, taken from the image of the 5 tenge banknote of the 1993 model. Below the portrait are his years of life. At the top there are inscriptions indicating the metal of manufacture, its fineness and the weight of the coin. The year of issue of the coin is indicated on the left, with the inscription ҚҰРМАНҒАЗЫ at the bottom. (KURMANGAZY)
