Obverse

Depiction of a land that holds a seed on which the incipit of the art flows. 9 of the Italian Constitution on the protection of the environment and biodiversity; above, on the left, a caterpillar on a branch is preparing for its metamorphosis. On the lower part of the external frame, in copper, a texture pattern representative of nature's ecosystems. At the top the writing “REPUBBLICA ITALIANA”.

Reverse

Depiction of a land in which a sprout comes to life on which the incipit of the art flows. 41 of the Italian Constitution which highlights the right and duty of every citizen to protect nature; in the background we can glimpse butterflies in flight that have completed their metamorphosis process, an image that ideally connects to the obverse. To the left and right of the bud respectively, the value “5 EURO” and “2023”, the year of issue of the coin, and “R”, identifying the Mint of Rome; in exergue, signature of the author E. FERRETTI. Coin with colorful elements.
